Biography

Robert Gillenkirch studied business at the Universities of Frankfurt and Southampton (U.K.). Prof. Gillenkirch received his doctorate from the University of Frankfurt in 1996. He became a professor of accounting and finance at the University of Göttingen in 2003. Since 2008, he holds the Heinrich W. Risken chair for Management and Accounting at the University of Osnabrück. Prof. Gillenkirch has published his research, inter alia, in the Journal of Institutional and Theoretical Economics, European Accounting Review, Accounting, Organizations and Society.
